Venus and Mars sessions. Wings Bootleg
This is an old bootleg already, released by Yellow Cat in 2001, but I couldn't find it till FPSHOT took me sightseeing in a dutch town, I couldn't believe the beatiful things I saw there, mainly bootlegs.
This bootleg has two rough mixes of the Venus and Mars sessions.
One mix is almost the final one that ended up on the album, but still different, and you get the complet songs. Venus and Mars for example doesn't run into Rock Song, so you hear Venus and Mars complete and also the start of Rock Show.
The sound is superb, and with these mixes you can hear some instruments more upfront while on the album these instruments are more hidden in the mix.
Two real gems are two different versions of Letting Go, one last for 5:29, while the album version is 4:32. This one has a great extended end. Two great mixes of one of my favourite McCartney songs.
These bootlegs become more rare and rare so if you get the chance, buy it!

Here is the link to the tracklist and bootlegzone reviews of the bootleg
http://www.bootlegzone.com/album.php...c070§ion=3
Tho I don't 100% agree with the first review that there isn't much difference to the original release. The second set is indeed close to the final mix, but you can hear different overdubs, or even less overdubs, studio noises. And the first set really has the songs in their earliest stage, without overdubs and really bare. I must say it is still a set for the Paul fans, not the casuall but who wants to have it all. If you like Venus and Mars and it's really one of your favourite albums you would also enjoy it.

Which Dutch town is this Legs?.I go to Holland a couple of times a year to visit family and would like to expand my bootleg collection.
