I've never seen a mail box/slot on a door! In fact, most people around here have some kind of personalized or decorative mail box.

The letter box on our door is sealed up and we have a box outside now. The reason was that the dog liked to play "Catch and Destroy" with the post!!!!!

There's a site online that my teachers use to post our marks so the students and parents can look at their marks. I was trying to login in today to check how I did on my finals, but EVERY time I check that site, they keep changing my password and/or username! Usually I have to try a number of different combinations before getting it, but now no matter what I type in it won't let me on.

I heard bad news about SgtPeppers, and now I'm worried and can't sit still.

Hey guys, thanks for all your good thoughts - just want to give you an update.
My sister Christine was riding with her and saw the accident and went with her to the hospital for a few hours. My dad and I just went to go pick her up though, because it looks like Kim will still be several hours there, if not overnight, and there wasn't any point in her staying there in the waiting room while she has an exam tomorrow morning.
It looks like Kim will be okay, but her arm was smashed up pretty hard. While she was riding she actually fell off a few times, the first time she was winded but got back on. They were doing jumping, and with just a few minutes left of the lesson Kim's horse jumped, and then the girth (large belt that goes around the belly to hold the saddle on) snapped, and the horse went one way while Kim and the saddle went the other.
Christine said her arm looks pretty bad, and it looks like her elbow has two "points" instead of one because of the bone sticking out (ewww and ouch). So Kim is on "happy gas" and morphine right now, but when my sister was there she said the medication wasn't helping much and Kim was still in a lot of pain.
So it looks like the doctors will have to reset the elbow for her, and I'm not sure if her wrist was broken or sprained as well. I don't know if she would need surgery for that, or if the doctors can fix it up with a cast??
Whenever I hear more I'll let you all know, although at this point we'll probably just get an update tomorrow if she doesn't see the doctors for a while yet...
It's too bad that this is her right arm that got hit. That will make things pretty difficult. :( Not to mention I'm sure this accident will ruin many of her summer plans, and any more horseback riding for the next several weeks.

Lizzy, thank you for telling us about Kim -- I didn't see the posts until now. Good thoughts go out to her, I hope she will be okay. Please let her know that all of us here are thinking about her, and keep us updated!
