Default Anthony Scaduto's :The Beatles:

Has anyone ever heard of this book?
“The Beatles” by Anthony Scaduto
1968

It is a rather interesting book, to say the least. I was curious if anyone knows where either of these two pieces of information could have come from:

"And John, discussing the girls who turned their concerts into bedlam: 'We’ve been told that the girls masturbate while we’re on stage, in the dark there, with everybody jumping around.'
Or the girl from the London area fan club who stood in line for an hour to say hello to the Beatles. They were seated behind a table (an altar, almost), and the girl lifted her tight-fitting sweater, leaned over Paul and begged 'Touch.'" (page 97)

If anyone has read this book or if you know anything about these quotes, please let me know.

He also did a book on Bob Dylan I did a book report on in the 8th grade, pretty interesting stuff.

I have that book. Years ago, a relative was cleaning out excess books; saw this one and thought of me. I've had it ever since.

It's a good biography and one I've enjoyed over the years.

I have it but haven't read it... I picked it up somewhere in my travels.
