This one from Hey Jude album cover is pretty cool.
But Sgt. Peppers is my favorite album cover because there's so much sh*t to look at!

I could be obnoxious and say the White Album, but I'll say Revolver because it's so intricate and cool.

Hmmmm. Why is it obnoxious or hip to say the White Abum? It is a great album cover. It is shocking in its starkness. I find it to be enigmatic which suits the White Album PERFECTLY.

I am also of the opinion that the White Album contains the best music in human history. So at the very least I think that the White Album cover is the most important Beatles album cover.

I would also consider Revolver and Abbey Road to be strong contenders for the title of best Beatle album cover.

The Revolver album cover is both beautiful and choatic which I find represents the music on the album well. As with the White Album cover, the Revolver album cover represents the enigmatic nature of the music contained within.

As for the Abbey Road album cover, it seems very simple on the surface but yet I find something oddly appealing about it. There is a certain air of 'importance' about it. I find that the Bealtles appear to be some sort of musical prophets. They are merely crossing a road but somehow they seem to be walking in outer space or in a different universe. But there also seems to be a certain serenity. It is a beautiful sunny day and the Beatles are engaged in the most basic of natural movements. They are walking. They seem to be at peace and all is well in the universe.

I'm not an artist and I don't understand conceptual art in the slightest, so I don't so much think of it as a "statement" as, well, a blank! In that context, it would just be being sarcastic to name it as the best album cover.

I like Abbey Road- they appear to be walking away from the studio ,all dressed differently...John in white, George in laidback denim, Paul in a suit but barefoot, and Ringo, in a beatlesque black suit, but sporting a beatnik beard- the same type he had in the early Hamburg days. Full circle! I was reading Trivial Pursuit cards some years ago, and one of the questions was, "What was the Volkswagen Beetle's license plate number on the cover of "Abbey Road"? The answer was "28 IF" Stoners would say that meant Paul would've been 28 if he didn't die in '66...

They're all good, and it's hard to pick just one, but I guess I have to pick Sgt. Pepper as my favorite, because there is just so much there to look at and study!

Abbey Road and Sgt. Peppers would have to be my favortie album covers. Sgt. Pepper because it is so colorful and there is much to look at. Then there is Abbey Road also because the background is beautiful and I like how they are all wearing different clothes. But if I had to pick between them, I would pick Abbey Road.

I agree. Revolver is my favorite for those reasons. It would make a great mural on a wall!

A Hard Day's Night (the British cover), I think is pretty clever.

I think I can safely say Sgt. Peppers is my favorite cover. The collage-look is pretty cool. Not only is it so bright and have so many colors, I love studying it and trying to pick out all the faces. It seems that no matter how many times I've looked at it before, each time I examine it for a few minutes, I still pick out new things. I love that.

I'm going with Sgt Peppers because when it came out we all spent hours trying to figure out who everyone was in the picture. Great memories.

Well, I think that Abbey Road is the most reconizeable, you know? When people say the Beatles, porbably most people would think of that..

But personally, I'd say Sgt. Pepper because it's so intricate. I spent about an hour just looking at the cover when I first got the album. Shirley Temple and The Beatles appear twice, I noticed. I also like the White Album because it's real clever. I wanted the album poster of it, and showed my mom, and she goes " A blank peice of gloss paper..? We can go to the craft store and get it. Then I can write 'the Beatles' on it. "

Beatles for Sale, even though the album itself is one of my least favourite Beatles albums. Revolver would be a close second. I love Klaus Voormans artwork

I love this history behind the White Album. How the guys were sick of everyone trying to reproduce Sgt. Peppers on everyone's record albums so they wanted to make a point and did a blank cover. Silent protest.
