Default Paul Interviews

In December of 2014 Paul was on The Daily Show, which is hosted by John Stewart and Jimmy Fallon. People have been criticizing Jimmy Fallon of late, but I feel he did a good job with his interview. Jimmy Fallon is a fun personality and a live wire. He plainly loves the Beatles and was delighted that Paul was a guest on his show. Paul was not really engaging with Jimmy and Jimmy did his darndest to elicit a response. The same applied on The Daily Show. I think both hosts did their best, but Paul seemed tired. The man is a septuagenarian, after all. On other sites people were coming down hard on the hosts which I felt was unfair. After all Paul has been doing - touring; releasing a CD; making the talk show circuit and considering his age, it's understandable the man would be tired. He even looked tired. However, I give the hosts credit.

Jimmy unintentionally made Paul feel ill at ease. You can see how uncomfortable he grew when Jimmy launched into his impersonations. After all, Jimmy is as big a fan as anyone. I'd imagine Paul faces things like that frequently. Difference being; most of those moments aren't on national television. He was probably apologizing profusely, after the show.
