Re: what kind of guitar
Here are mine:
The one in the center is my Rickenbacker. My primary guitar. It plays as awesome as it looks. I've gotten tons of compliments on it, because it's so beautiful. The one on the right is my Taylor, also played quite a bit. The one on the left is a Peavey Wolfgang, striped like Eddie Van Halen's.

Re: what kind of guitar
I currently own a 20th anniversary Squire Bullet. At the moment I am taking a guitar building class at school and making my self a kick butt guitar.
The back is made out of mahogany and walnut woods. The face plate is made out of "zebra wood" (which is wood with a very dark grain). Its design is roghly a mixture of a Rickenbaker 600 and a Les Paul (and it will have a slash hole on the upper half [like george's 600]). It is also going to have a set of Les Paul pickups.

Re: what kind of guitar
This is my current little guitar (exact color too), an Ibanez GSA60. I've had it for 4 years. It's almost bottom of the line, but it's still an ok guitar. Good sound and durable. My absolute dream guitar is a Jetglo Rickenbacker 325. I wouldn't mind having a Les Paul Black Beauty or a black Fender Telecaster. (I have a thing with the color black, it's my favorite color in a totally non-freakish manner.) But I figure once I get enough money and am satisfied with my playing ability I'll get one of those 3.

Re: what kind of guitar
I have two acoustic guitars. My first is an Austin, and it's pretty small, but I love to play it! The second one is my mom's, a Harmony, but it's technically mine now. It's 30 years old, and it still looks good and plays awesome!

Re: what kind of guitar
Although I'm primarily a bassist I do own 2 6 strings one is a Taylor 410ce and the other is a "Big Baby" Taylor.
My basses are:
Fender American Standard Jazz Bass
Guild Acoustic Bass (don't know the model)
Rickenbacker 4003 Bass (FireGlo finish)

Re: what kind of guitar
Beatles love Rickenbackers, and so do I.
And updated shot with my Lennon-esque Ric.

Re: what kind of guitar
Wow. Please allow me to say how in awe of all you guys I am. I bet if I could hear all of you play, I would seriously be floored by how good you are. Me; I'm just trying to teach myself how to play. I got a Fender DG-7 about 5 years ago for my birthday. I took a guitar course in college, but then stopped practising after the quarter was over, and have just recently started practising again. So basically, I really suck, but it is sooo much fun!
OK; so to everyone who has Beatles replica-looking Rics and Hofners and Epi's..... man! These pics are seriously making my jaw drop to the floor everytime!

I know how you feel. After 20+ years of being a piano player, I took up bass just under 2 years ago and I sucked royally for the first year, then sucked moderately for the next few months and now am finally starting to not totally suck. It takes practice and dedication, but if you've got the time, it's totally worth it.
Here's to you - good luck at not sucking soon!

Re: what kind of guitar
I'd like to make a correction to my new electric guitar. It's not just any Fender electric, it's a red Fender Strat (Squier), just like Buddy Holly and Jimi Hendrix's.
