Flaming Pie
Helloooo!!!
I think Flaming Pie is the best album of Paul. If it isnīt the best, itīs one of them.
I love 'Calico Skies';baloon;, 'Flaming Pie','If you Wanna', 'The World Tonight' (really a great song!), 'Beautiful Night'(of course) and 'Somedays'... Itīs so wonderful...
And Paulīs voice is so sweet and so hard at the same time!
Well, I love Paul. Ande the others too!!!

Re: Flaming Pie
"Flaming Pie" is between my favorites, although my very favorite is "Ram". OK, songs from there will be "Calico Skies" (warm and beautiful ballad, especially when sung by Paul around a fire in "The World Tonight" video), "Somedays" (great, great song), "Young Boy", "Little Willow", "Souvenir" (soon to be covered by Queen!!!) and "Beautiful Night", with a little help from Ringo...

Re: Flaming Pie
Flaming Pie makes me very, very sad. That picture of poor Lin' in the cover says it all. Great album...I love Beautiful Night the best.

Re: Flaming Pie
What a great album!!! Calico skies is one of those songs that, when I play the cd, I have to listen to at least two or three (or more!) times in a row. It's so pretty.

Re: Flaming Pie
"Flaming Pie" is a fantastic album. It is definitly one of Paul's best. All of the songs are great, but........two that just completely flip me out are "Used To Be Bad" and "Really Love You". I think they were ignored because I don't remember ever hearing anything about them. They would make a great single!
Another song that I totally went nuts over is
"Get Out Of My Way" on the "Off The Ground" album. What a great song! People complain about Paul not rocking and then when he does, the song gets ignored. This song would have been a great single too. He didn't even play in at his last concert! It would have been great live.
