BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
Just in case you're having trouble with the site later on tonight, don't worry. It's just Brett & I working on some stuff. We've got a lot of ideas, so be on the lookout. Hopefully, we'll get a lot done in between Intellivision breaks. Yes, I said Intellivision. Does anybody out there remember that?

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
Man, I had an Intellivision when I was around 10. That's about 18 years ago. What games do you have? I still remember Triple Action, Baseball was cool, Auto Racing. It's been a while.

Yeah, I usually work Brett when we play Baseball. The other day, I shut him out two games in a row.

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
I just re-bought the thing about a year ago and have about 40 games again. I didn't have that many when I was a kid and had it. They're really cheap no.

Ah, Intellivision baseball. I used to club the hell out of my older brother playing that game.

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
Col, before the PC, Intellivision was a game system that you played through the television. It was big in the early 80s. Have you heard of Colecovision, or the Atari 2600 or 5200 or whatever they called them? It was basically the same thing - although I always thought Intellivision ruled them all.

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
Oh maybe I've heard about these. Were these the things that played that really weird platform tennis kind of game, where the sound effects are just - beep..........beep......beepbeep.......beep...beep beep beep. . . .?
Or am I way off? I've only seen these on TV.

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
I had an Atari 2600 for Christmas about 7 years ago. It cost a lot of money back then, but I sold it last year for a tenner. I wish I still had it as I liked it. Esp. Road Runner.

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
So, does anyone remember, ummm, PONG? Odyssey? We could never afford Intellivision, and by the time we could, along comes NES...we still can't afford THAT one, and I understand Super NES and N64 have been on the market awhile now! Sheesh!
(Besides, if I get a gamecenter for the hubster, I'll never see him again, LOL! You just think he lives for the Beatles...give him a quarter and a video game, and he's a gone-kitty!!)

Re: BeatleLinks.net Site Updates
Pong was the first and was great at the time. It was in college campus student centers in the early 70's and bars. It's all relative, isn't it? What makes you happy, I mean.

Yup, of course, jtal, you're right...it's in what makes you happy. I loved our Odyssey, but Pong got old in a hurry.
