Re: Rating & Reviews
My God, that's pretty impressive!
But I checked out there web-site, and they look to be one of the better tribute bands around. Normally when I see yet another bad tribute band's web-site I sign their guestbook, and mock them. But these look and sound half decent. And they have a mailing list, so maybe that's how they've managed to do it?

Rating & Reviews
Has anybody noticed that the site for the tribute band American English has like 100 reviews all of a sudden? Does anybody know what's going on? I'm guessing they have a mailing list, and they e-mailed everybody and told them to come here and rate them. That's fair, but I'm gonna check the IP addresses of all the ratings just in case. If it's the same dude rating his own site over and over, that sucks. I'll just delete the reviews.

Re: Rating & Reviews
I saw American English a few times, as they are a Chicago based band. I LOVE THEM! They are perfect. Almost the real thing. They are so good. Ringo even bops his head like the real Ringo did. They did, by the way, tell people on their mailing list to rate them. I was glad to though, they deserve it! If any of you ever come to Chicago, make a point to find out when and where they are playing.

Re: Rating & Reviews
I've seen 1964 and Beatlemania. 1964 focused only on the tour years from '63 to '66. Beatlemania encompassed the entire career of the Beatles. They had two costume changes during the show and really did a fantastic job. The high point of the evening came after the Sgt. Pepper set. (Yes, they even wore the uniforms!)
The one portraying John came out and did one of the best versions of "Imagine" that I had ever heard.
"John" even pointed me out to the other band members when I held up my black satin Beatles tour jacket.

Re: Rating & Reviews
Actually, Jerry, the American English e-mail is how I tripped into beatlelinks.net, so maybe it'll get more people in here.
