I don't know and I really don't care if they do or do not belong to that Hall of Fame because I can't listen to every music that comes into my ears. Plus, if you review the topic, I never said that Nirvana didn't diserve to get into the Hall of Fame, although 25 years of history are needed, like bearkat stated before. I'm still bothered at what you said about Ringo, that's my problem and probably what you missed.
Plus, I'm not in here to discuss Nirvana, but to share my opinions and thoughts about The Beatles. I think I've never gotten out of that.

Re: Other Bands We Love
I have to say sorry about that. I know Kurt said it, now that I read the complete topic. So I'm still bothered by what he said about Ringo. Sorry for thinking that about you, Eppy. Didn't mean to hurt you or anything.

Re: Other Bands We Love
I don't think I've ever responded to this question before, even though it's been out there for ages! Other bands for me are....
The Kinks (I'm a HUGE fan!)
XTC
Nick Lowe
John Hiatt
Marshall Crenshaw
Robyn Hitchcock
Smithereens
Squeeze
Yeah, I know....not the typical stuff....

Almost forgot to say thank you for your support, Eleanor.
And "hey, hey we're the Monkees" is fine by me too...

Re: Other Bands We Love
I was waiting for somebody to correct me, but amazingly nobody did.
Well, I had a problem with the quoting (sorry, Eleanor). I know that Nirava is not why we all are here for... Nor Nirvana, of course, which is what I actually meant...
I also want to say that, surfing through my Spanish/English dictionary today, I found out that the word is "deserve" and not "diserve". I used it like 100,000 times in the Forum and nobody corrected me. That means that you're all great or that you don't care about grammar!!! That would be a bad thing...

We're all great! I was going to thank you, in a sarcastic sense, for quoting my misspelling! but I see you saw it yourself....one of them was spelled right.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Good one, Darkhorse! I'm always amazed when a non-native speaker makes a pun! I'd be hopeless trying to do that in another language!
And to the Monkee lovers, I used to love them when I was a little kid....can't say I love them anymore, but I still like quite a few of their songs. Bubblegum, but GOOD bubblegum!
