The "Los Angeles Daily News" reports that George has purchased a new house in Los Angeles. It is so private that the only accessible way to it is by helicopter.

Paul is interviewed by Roy Leonard, promoting the film "Give My Regards To Broad Street". The interview is broadcast on Chicago's WGN radio station.

At the Cuts Gallery in London, an exhibition of Dezo Hoffman's photographs from his book "John Lennon" is shown.

The "Beatle City" exhibition runs at the West End marketplace in Dallas, Texas.

In the US, NBC Radio syndicates the program "Legends Of Rock", featuring the career of John Lennon.

UK album release: Imagine: John Lennon (Parlophone PCSP 722).

In the US, Westwood One's "Star Trak Profile" series syndicates a special on George across various radio stations.

US album release: Water From The Wells Of Home (Mercury MERC 834-778-1), by Johnny Cash. Paul sings a duet with Johnny on the track "New Moon Over Jamaica".

Paul performs in concert at Palais Omnisport De Bercy, Paris, France ("Get Back Tour").

In the US, the 1968 film "Wonderwall", featuring the film score by George, is released on home video.

1990
In the UK, at the Salford College of Technology, George Martin presents three students with the John Lennon Songwriting Award.

1992
In the UK, the "Daily Star" newspaper reports that "700 packets of Linda's vegetarian "Deep Country" pies had mistakenly been filled with a distinctly non-vegetarian steak and kidney filling."

1993
Paul performs in concert at Ahoy Sportpaleis, Rotterdam, Holland ("The New World Tour").

1995

US album release: Working Class Hero: A Tribute To John Lennon (Hollywood HR-62015). Included are recording artists Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mad Season, Candlebox, Blues Traveler, Screaming Trees, Minus 5, The Magnificent Bastards, The Flaming Lips, Super 8, Cheap Trick, Collective Soul, Sponge, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Mary Chapin Carpenter and George Clinton.

1998
In Germany, Ringo and band appear on the ZDF German TV show "Wetten Dass". They perform the song "La De Da".

1999
American singer, songwriter and actor Hoyt Axton dies of a heart attack in Victor, Montana. He was 61. Wrote songs for Ringo Starr, Elvis Presley, Three Dog Night, John Denver and Glen Campbell.

2013
In Los Angeles, the exhibition "The Early Beatles Collection," featuring images taken by Astrid Kirchherr, runs at the Leica Gallery. Images include pictures taken during the filming of "A Hard Day's Night" in 1964 for Stern Magazine, as well as some of the images she took of the musicians during their Hamburg, Germany, period in 1960.

Paul and his band surprised New Yorkers by performing songs from his “New” album in a short impromptu free concert to roughly 3,000 people on a long truck parked in the middle of Times Square.

2014
Ringo & his All-Starr Band perform in concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion (2014 Tour).
