Lightbulb Beatles pet peeves

My pet peeve is on Abbey Road; Mean Mr. Mustard. I'm the King and I'm with you know who. People around me shout obscenities when I'm at home and I have to yell at them in the middle of the night to shut them up. It's all weird stuff like, "I don't like girls".

I agree with a lot of people on here. My pet peeve is when people dismiss Ringo as an irrelevance to the Beatles. After all, it was George who, when Jimmy Nicol was brought in, said that "playing without Ringo is like driving a car with 3 wheels". And how many bands allow their drummer a solo spot on their albums?

I get tired of people who just think Paul is cute... as though he has no other talent. "Oh yeah, him. He's the cute Beatle." Excuse me? They're all cute for one & there's more to Paul that just a pretty face!

I think it's odd that George is suddenly so popular. Why wasn't he popular when he was alive? "Oh George, yeah, he's the weird one." Now suddenly he isn't?

Or in John's case... he's either diabolical or a saint. Why can't he just be human? He didn't do things to upset people on purpose & he wasn't perfect. Get over it.

& last, "Ringo's just the drummer". Yeah... right....

*sigh... do your homework people...

I hate when people say they all look alike.

People who say Ringo was a "so-so drummer", or that he was somehow expendable as a band member don't know a thing about chemistry and how it takes a good band and makes it a phenomenal band.

Could The Beatles have succeeded without Ringo? Weeeellllll....... probably...???. But, would've they been worse off without him? Definitely!

Yes those teenagers just piss me off. I'm a teenager but i'm not like them.
I like the Beatles because of who they are and what they did and what they wrote not because Vingtage is the cool thing to be into and the Beatles logo
looks cute on a t-shirt. Why do kids pretend to be fans of somthing when their not? I learned that being a teenger and being around them teenagers always like to put on a big show. Like the new "Emo" thing where kids think there rebellious and depressed when there perky happy little preps.
It gets me upset whe a Paris Hilton clone has a Beatles T-shirt on.
I can pick out true Beatles fans from the posers at my school by observing I picked out three true fanatics in the whole school!

That's a big pet peeve of mine also! I've met so many so-called fans (who know about 2 of his solos songs, yet think they know all about John) who think of him one way or the other but never just as human.

Another one that drives me nutty is when people say, "So, do you ever think they'll get back together." Umm, hello, where have these people been?!? Under a rock? (A close family friend (who I love dearly) ask me that very question not long ago, and after a long pause where I'm pretty sure my mouth was just hanging open I finally said to her "No, I don't think so... seeing that two of them are dead." Disturbingly, she seemed really surprised to hear that information. )
