Default Dr. Ebbetts' Sgt Pepper's question

Hello,

I recently purchased a Dr. Ebbetts' CD, Sgt. Pepper's ... - Japanese Red Vinyl (Mono; EMI/Odeon EAS-70137). On the CD, the matrix number "YEX-701-M" is printed. Is this number correct? The numbers that I find on other websites for this album is "YEX 637M 1s" and a statement that a misprint occurred - should be "XEX" instead of "YEX." Please share any info on this matter. Thanks.

Regards,
Michael

It's not the matrix number on the CD itself. It's printed on the CD as if it was the album's matrix number. I'm leaning more towards it's a mistake rather than a fake.

If anyone has the Japanese red vinyl set from '82 or '86, please share the matrix numbers from Sgt. Pepper's. Thanks.

Regards,
Michael
