I can't stand the smell of butter. In the breakroom at work, somebody is always popping popcorn (I don't like popcorn, but it doesn't make me totally queasy), but the stench of butter is downright nauseating.

About the only thing that really grosses me out is what I term (and I know this is really a predjudicial term) "weird meat". I won't eat game or organs of any kind...just the idea grosses me out.

If only ice cream or salty snacks grossed me out, I'd be a thin person!

I hate beets, turnips, radish, creamed corn from a can and sweet potatoes . Those are the only vegetables I can't stand.

Never put sugar and butter on carrots. That is vile. Plain carrots are delicious, but sugar and butter make them vile tasting.

I never cook with butter. I hate the stench of butter and would rather smell a wet dog or fetid feet than butter.

a very nice woman in our office prepared lunch for the support staff one day... she made her kids' "favorite" dish of egg enchiladas. it wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been made with onions sauteed in vinegar and sugar, and hard boiled eggs with ranchero sauce! gross, gross, gross...

I like sauteed onions too, but NO VINEGAR please. I hate vinegar and the odor of vinegar is vile indeed.

I'm with ya on that one - olives are probably my favourite food! (I know, it's weird!)
I cannot STAND V8 juice or tomato juice - vegetables just weren't meant to be in liquid form!

Blasphemers!

Seriously, I think that just has to do with the individual restaurants. Our Burger King has no soggy bun problems and has the best fries I've ever tasted!

I can't eat mountain oysters or anything like salad that has all leaves and no real food.

I cannot abide turnips or chittlings (sp). Chittlings smell like food that has already been digested. I think they are truly vile.

Definitely true. Even though they're supposed to be standardized, fast food restaurants vary WIDELY in terms of quality. The Burger King by my office is pretty decent, but the one by my house? EEEEEECCCCCHHHHH!!!!! No way would I go there.
