The film “Good Ole Freda”
I borrowed the film from the library last month and really liked it. It is touching she still tears up when talking about the 2 Beatles and others connected to them that have passed. I was shocked to hear how tough Brian was as a boss, but I guess that was necessary. That was surprising when her daughter stated that 80% of the info in the movie she never knew regarding her mom’s friendship with the Fab Four. The group was blessed to have such a dedicated, caring person in their entourage. Her grandson is a lucky kid to have something like that to brag about. That is sad her son passed away. Paul’s stepmom also spoke, for some reason I thought she passed away. That is cool she was tight with the group’s parents as well.

I have the film and really love it. Freda is a truly humble woman who did not ride the Beatles' coattails to fame nor did she capitalize on the vast wealth of Beatle information and paraphrenalia.
Elsie Starkey saw Freda as a daughter figure. Harold Sr. tried to teach her ballroom dancing. She was a hit with the Beatles' immediate families and a hit with the fan club and with the Beatles themselves, not to mention us!

Stupidest thing I've heard in a loooong time.
And yes it's a good movie to watch!
