<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">I agree with Susan, Jane would NOT spill the beans on her do's and don't's with Paul. That was like 40 years ago, wasn't it? I think even jane MIGHT be able to talk to Paul nicely and maybe with a little bit of laughs about the past, but that's about it. i'm sure Jane's not still going "AAARGH!! THAT'S HIM!! THE CHEATING BASTARD THAT DUMPED ME IN 68!!!" She's too much of a lady and is having a hell of a good life now.
Although it MUST have been a bit awkward to be in the same room with Heather... weird...

Re: Heather and Jane went to the same event!!!
It would be interesting to know if they talked at all, they probably didn't but oh well. It wouldn't have been too awkward I think, it's not like Jane broke her engagement with Paul because of Heather. Wasn't Heather only a year old when the engagement ended? Something around that age, I guess. Anyhow, interesting that they were both there.

Yes, it's the same Jane Asher that was involved with Paul in the 1960s

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">I think that they probably avoided each other. And I also think that Jane is too much of a lady to EVER dish the dirt on Paul -- she hasn't for all these years, despite offers from people to get her to spill the beans. She has put that firmly behind her, and she is happily married with two (or three, can't recall) children. She doesn't WANT to talk about (or to) Paul, so I can't imagine she'd want to talk to his wife, particularly about him.

Re: Heather and Jane went to the same event!!!
It reflects well on Jane not to divulge that personal part of her life. I think she has a lot of class.
Still, that is an interesting guest list...sounds like quite a function!

Re: Heather and Jane went to the same event!!!
Jane is a very classy lady and I agree that she would never and has never dumped the dirt on Macca....I would think it would notphase her in the least since Lady Heather was at the same function...she has a really awesome life and Paul is only a part of her past. She handled the situation from the beginning with class. I always repected her highly for that.
