Arctic Monkeys "Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?"
Heck yes! I think John would try to stay hip with the times, but also loyal to his roots...so why not a hip band with great lyrics from his home country?

Talking Heads released a couple albums in the 70s, and they were New York-based, so he had to have been familiar with them...and we know that he was impressed with McCartney II, which has some traces of the Heads in it. Anyone know if John ever commented on Talking Heads anywhere?

I looked and couldn't find anything, but I have a sinking feeling he would have loved their 1970s stuff.

I am a huge fan of WTF, been listening for years. He gets such great stuff out of his guests... always interesting, even if I'm not that interested in the person. I bet you John would have visited Marc's garage!
