Debut Single
The single, "Listen To What The Man Said/Love In Song" represented a certain "first".
For one point....
What was it?

Is it the first post-Beatle record that is not from Apple?

Good guesses, so far. LennonLover, you are on the right platform next to the right track!
But none are the answer I am looking for. Try again!

Uncle Albert, I am not sure how a release date represents a "first".
LennonLover touched-on something that everyone should think in terms of, with her first guess.
Also, please make sure to give just one unique answer when posting guesses. Your first post included two separate answers, and I was informed by another contest mod that this is not allowed. I won't disqualify you, though, as it's too after-the-fact at this point.
Try again, everyone!

I think it's the first single credited to "Wings".

Not quite! There were a few singles released under the band name, "Wings" prior to. Time for a lil' "hint":
The answer involves something regarding the label on the actual 45 RPM record.
