Default Three Cool Cats

While checking out eBay auctions, for miniature Beatles guitars, I noticed something amiss regarding one of the auctions…

The items were advertised as the “Beatles 1964 Ed Sullivan Show Miniature Guitar Replicas”. Hmmmm!

Assuming we’re talking “February 9th Ed Sullivan Show” (and why would we not be?), for two points:

Tell me what is wrong with this auction's picture, below, with regard to the auction description?

Lennon's Rick pick guard was still a gold tone from it's original finish before painting it black. And the fingerboard was natural and not rosewood.

No need to delay with responding... You are correct!

This miniature guitar set includes a representation of John's new Rick which arrived in time for him to use in Miami, but not in time for their NY debut on Feb. 9th. So, he had to use his old original Rick which was painted black.

As you stated, the pick guard was gold—not white. But in a b&w TV world, the tremelo (tailpiece and whammy bar), and the knobs (gold and black) would have been the real kicker.
