Louise really looks like George, only that her face is fuller compared to George sharp shape. But she is uncannily Harrison, as is Harold Jr. Probably Peter was the only sibling who took after the French side of the family

Peter took a direct hit from Harold Sr. as well. If you see a picture of him and George as young boys with bikes, you can see they are Harrison boys.
I always thought their oldest brother looked the least like Harold Sr. than Lou, George and Peter.

I heard Lou will be in Liverpool for Beatles Week. I would love to be among the lucky people who are able to be there.

Peter kind of looked a lot like George too, even in his later years..
I saw a "Louise Harrsion" thanked in the credits of Michael Moore's "Slackers" doco - all about his college campus tour to get people and 'slackers' particularly out to vote in the 2004 election..Roger Hodsgon from Supertramp was also thanked so it probably is our Louise, id say she was probably in support of this good cause

Is it me or does Louise mostly talk about the 60's with George yet where are the later years?

Don't think they were that close in later years, infact were somewhat estranged at least during the 90's..From all accounts they did have a reunion and made up in George's final days.

Well its a tricky thing and i can only speak on what I've heard.. i dont know them personally so don't know how true it all is and maybe estranged is too strong a word. Afterall George was a very private person and we don't know if he was calling her up and staying in touch etc or not...but i had heard he was a bit miffed and upset about some of her involvement in "beatles projects" and beatle related business ventures etc.. like the hard days night hotel and a few other things..George really kinda shyed away from the beatles thing up until Anthology (and even during and after then to an extent) and resented people making a profit off or out of him i think. In saying that i read he continuted to financially support Louise so i don't think it was THAT estranged if you know what i mean...

I heard the same information CWW heard and I don't know what their dynamics were or the upshot of the issues presented therein.
Louise had a French personality and her brothers were Harrison boys, private men all of them. Many people, particularly musicians have issues with Louise. I know some musicians who have had unfortunate exchanges with Louise and who have also had trouble with her promoting men young enough to be her grandson in tribute bands. Several people have expressed displeasure at her using the Beatle banner to get special passes at functions. While I make no such claim, I am reporting what others have said and, since they have shared their experiences, I believe what they are saying as I have no proof to the contrary and they are good, reliable sources. In my case, since I have not met her, I would enjoy being an audience member and loving her stories. What makes George stories so special and wonderful is that George, from the very moment of his conception was surrounded by love. George was welcomed with open arms, open hearts and open door from the very beginning.
Since I have never met her, I have always wanted to and I know I said this before and you'll all probably get a good giggle out of this one.
I would love to have a cyber slumber party. We all wear our jammies and robes, drink our ovaltine and have our computers on to Louise, who sits on a "settee" (couch) and tells us Harrison family stories that may or may not include George. I know it sounds totally off the wall, but I think it would be fun.

Some good info here, and yes i too would love to meet Louise!! (cyber or non cyber!)..she is a Harrison afterall
It is funny too because she and George did have a lot in common, animal rights issues and of course SRF (the self realisation foundation) which George also attended and the teachings of Yogananda..
It must be difficult to be a sibling of someone so famous..let us also not forget it was Louise who got George to visit the US in 1963, becoming the first Beatle to do so..i think in some kind of way this spurned on or at least helped the jan 1964 "invasion"..after one Beatle came they all had to follow..Georges 1963 visist is still not that known and quite remarkable in itself really..
i hadn't heard about her daughter..hope she is well :)

I think CWW hit the nail on the head in one above.
Does anybody know how Louise's daughter Leslie is doing? A while back I heard that she was in ICU and Louise was worried about her.

It's sad to hear that there was a disagreement of any kind between George and Louise, but at least they were reconciled before George died. Still, George got off lightly compared to Paul with his disastrous second marriage and birth certificate-stealing stepsister Ruth!
