Default Chicago \"A Hard Day\'s Night\" Screening

http://abbeyrd.best.vwh.net/news/ahdndvd7.html

In addition to the special events in New York and Los Angeles to celebrate the release of the new DVD of "A Hard Day's Night," Beatles fans in Chicago -- and indeed from anywhere in the U.S. -- also have a chance to attend a special screening of the film and see AHDN actors Victor Spinetti and John Junkin in-person.

WXRT, one of Chicago's top radio stations, is hosting a private screening of "A Hard Day's Night" -- together with Martin Lewis' new half-hour special "Things They Said Today..." -- followed by an informal Q&A featuring Spinetti, Junkin and Lewis. The event will take place on Wednesday September 25 in Chicago (the night after the Paul McCartney concert in that city).
All of the tickets go to prize-winners of a ticket draw that is entered via the radio station's website at http://www.wxrt.com/cgi-bin/contests/enter.pl/ahard. The contest is open to anyone irrespective of where they live or whether they can hear the radio station. (Note: The radio station is not providing transportation or accommodations to ticket winners.)

Host for the evening will be WXRT disc jockey Terri Hemmert, who hosts a daily classic rock show, a weekly Beatles radio show and has been host of Beatlefest in Chicago for 25 years.

Well, I just registered. Wish me luck! The venue is right near my house, so if I win, I'll definitely be there!

Actually, if you go to the radio station website, it says you have to be from Illinois, Wisconsin or Indiana to win.

I want to see Shake!!!

Should we send a letter to Mark Lapidos, too?

We want Shake! We want Shake! We want Shake!

We could start a campaign, ya know! ROTF!

I wouldn't mind if Victor came back again, too!

Hope you get to see them both, Rell!
