Lately I am wondering a lot if George really was referring to the sun and sunshine and all that....or.... was referring to the not-so-good period from when they returned from India with the White Album and the sad things between the guys...

Here's what George supposedly said about it:
“ "Here Comes The Sun was written at the time when Apple was getting like school, where we had to go and be businessmen: 'Sign this' and 'sign that'. Anyway, it seems as if winter in England goes on forever, by the time spring comes you really deserve it. So one day I decided I was going to sag off Apple and I went over to Eric Clapton's house. The relief of not having to go see all those dopey accountants was wonderful, and I walked around the garden with one of Eric's acoustic guitars and wrote Here Comes The Sun". - The Beatles Anthology
However, the great thing with great songs (like great art) is that it can mean different things to different people. I like that.

What beatlebangs said. This seems a bit silly to me, but as a guitar player the choice is quite simple While My Guitar Gently Weeps hands down. Come on.. at least it's a real song. Like FPSHOT generously pointed out it was George trying to express his frustrations during his mystical phase thingie, at least that's how i read it.

Although While My Guitar Weeps is one of my personal favorites of all Beatle songs I'll vote for Here Comes the Sun it's a bigger song and more universal in feeling.
It's got that totally upbeat quality about it in the lyrics, melody and even the sound of the capoed guitar.

Really tough with two beautiful George songs.
But I think Jtal said it beautifully for me also.
'Here comes the sun'.
Btw I think it's good that we don't have a winner after 5 years, there shouldn't be one.

Here Comes The Sun has a more positive, upbringing feel to it. While My Guitar Gently Weeps has a more down to earth, soul-searching feel, and would be one of the first songs chosen as a guitarist. Personally, I can't split the two. It depends on my mood on any given day.

Can I choose both? Count my vote as half for each! :D
Haha, or not...but whoever started this battle is evil! Just kidding... ;D
Both songs are masterpieces that display Harrison's composing abilities, but doesn't limit it. It's difficult to choose just one.
Difficult, but possible...
I'll go for While My Guitar Gently Weeps...especially the acoustic version. :]

I believe that these two songs, along with Something, typify the creative beatle-riffic George at his best.

Both
I couldn't decide between them, I love both songs. Eric Clapton was superb doing the weeping guitar on While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and it was great to see him redo it in the Concert for George. Here Comes The Sun is an uplifting song that nobody could dislike. Out of the 4 Beatles George was always my favorite.
