Here in Germany, the Jonas Brothers haven't arrived yet, but I'm sure they'll be on Nicks Children's Channel, like Hanna Montana...

The first time I heard their name was on Youtube where I read the question if the Jonas Brothers or the Jimi Hendrix Experience was better....

Seems to be fashionable to compare crap to 60s-Music...

It's similar to the German band "Tokio Hotel", anyone ever heard of them?

Ick Jonas Brothers. The generic teenie bopper music. Even girls my age like them! Please, if they can develop into a legendary band with music that has meaning (ahem...The Beatles) over a period of years i might give them credit. But they also need voice lessons.

this reminds me of the part on the beatles anthology where they talk about the Jesus statement and the little girl says "Oh the beatles are old news. I like Herman's Hermits!!" And everyone sitting at home goes "Who????????"

Heck my mom was around in the 60's and she didn't even remember who Herman's Hermits were. It will be the same with the Jonas brothers. Just like most of us have forgotten those crummy boy bands of the 90s, we will soon forget the Jonas Brothers, mark my words.

I don't believe anybody should compare this teeny bopper group. They are very different from The Beatles and the fact that he is not taking into consideration the technology s absolute crap. I am literaly writing an editorial about how it is so unfair to compair them. Heehee, it is titled "Jonas Brothers: New Beatles?" I was really proud of myself! But anyway to get back on topic, the equipment used, iTunes and the plasticity of the music industry, this should go "cold case". I hate the Jonas Brothers music (not them, I've never met them so I dont have a reason to.) and ignore all of it (well, I do have to admit I go on youtube and for laughs watch their music video's and to cry I listen to it, Lol.) and this is my opinion.

I really doubt that. My best friend is OBSESSED with them. I can't stand them at all really. Trust me they will be long gone in about two or three years or less!

What Ilianna said.

I think these pretty-boy pop fads are just a flash in the pan that will soon become tomorrow's chart statistic in a trivia game.

Yes your right but as a group they didn't last very long. The Beatles lasted a whole decade and to this day their songs are still remembered and praised. I don't believe many will remember the Jonas Brother's songs or be praised like the Beatles are. Beatles songs are timeless, I don't think people will be singing "Burning Up" forty or fifty years from now.

WHAT IS THIS MADNESS???!!!! Okay. I'll admit right here. Yes, I'm a JB fan. But they will NEVER, I repeat, NEVER be anything like The Beatles! They are nowhere NEAR as good as The Beatles and will never go down in history the way The Beatles have. They're just getting big heads if they think they'll ever be the next Beatles. People are seriously messed up with their judgement.

Their music could never come close to anything the Beatles ever did, but they are pretty famous with the yonger croud. I think they are famous for their time, but one thing that has to be remembered is that their are being compaired to the Beatles, they are not being said that they are bigger, the beatles are the biggest thing since sliced bread and I think always will be. I don't think anyone will ever amount to their success!

In a sense, but that's really only because of Justin's solo career. NSYNC the band doesnt exist anymore, and hasnt existed for years.

Come on, people. Think numerically: there's only THREE people in the Jonas Brothers. And I am mad at them for their messed-up version of Hello Goodbye.

Does anyone remember T Rex and the Bay City Rollers!?

I remember one song "Bang a Gong" that I didn't know T Rex even did (I read it somewhere the other day) and I cannot for the life of me think of one song the Rollers did........

I do remember a lot of hype in the early 70's about said groups being bigger than the Beatles! or being the next Beatles! or etc. Given that I was a teenager at the time, if that were true you would think I would remember.

I also noticed over the last few years that two movies about famous entertainers (Lewis and Martin, and Johnny Cash) both ended with rolling screen script noting how records issued by them ...to paraphrase....even out sold the latest Beatle release at that time.

If you got people pointing out in a movie that isn't about you, how they the subject of the movie dethroned you (however briefly) then you are still the king of the heap!
