Default Drake's Drum

I've heard of the racehorse Paul bought for his father Jim in I believe 1996. I love horses so of I course I was very happy hearing this news. All I know about the horse is he won the race precedding the Grand National. Now as the National is more of a steeplechase is that the kind of racehorse he was or was he a track runner? any info of any kind I would pictures the most of all!

the horse was actually bought in 1964 for his father's 62nd bithday. the horse won first place at the hylton plate in 1966 coming in at 20-1. he was later retired at paul's farm in scotland.

i'm sorry, i don't have a picture.
