Default Threesome.

This is a three point question.
You need to get everything right to get the three points.

During the sixties Ringo received a card from "John,Cyn and Victor".

Where was the card posted (city and country) and why were they there?
Who was Victor?
What was the outcome of the journey?

Victor Spinetti

Early one morning in January 1968, John was working with the actor Victor Spinetti on a play based on John's writings and cartoons. When John suggested they "go somewhere warm", Victor thought he meant another room-but it turned out to be Morocco, where this card was posted. John's then wife, Cynthia ("Cyn"), came along too.

Marrakesh, Morocco. They had been working together in Vicor's flat in London when John Lennon suggested: "I'm cold. Let's go somewhere warm."

Victor Spinetti

The outcome of the journey was the stage adaptation of John's book "In His Own Write". The play opened at the Old Vic Theatre on 18 June 1968.

Well, if we are going for 100% accuracy...

The trip was made after a "let's go someplace warm" comment. The trip included John, Cynthia, and Victor Spinetti.

They were working on a play based on John's writing and cartoon during the trip. Eventually the adaptation was completed.

But.... The postcard was definitely marked Marrakech, Morrocco. John Lennon International Airport in Liverpool even uses "Marrakech" to this day.

Well they didn't take the Mystical Express or even the Marrakesh Express but they did fly there.Unfortunately Uncle Albert forgot to include the city in his answer.

Marrakesh (Marrakech in French and Liverpudlian) is of course in Morocco (Maroc in French, Morocco in Liverpudlian).

They went there because Lennon wanted to go somewhere warm with Victor Spinetti the actor. The outcome was the play 'In His Own Write' based on Lennon's written work.
