Pictures, Pictures, Pictures...

I'm sure most of you have noticed that the "Archive" section of the forum is taking shape.

About half of the year is up in the history forum...

To make this archive complete, especially the history topics, I need pictures! I've got most of the LPs and 45s, but I'm looking for basic pictures of events. For example, some of you must have nice pictures of Paul & Linda's wedding, or John & Yoko's wedding, or their Ed Sullivan appearances, or even a picture taken during an interview.

So...if you have a picture, or even a link to a picture on another site, please send it to jerry@beatlelinks.net and I'll post it.

Remember that only half of the year is up in the history archive, so anything after that won't go up for awhile.

If you're sending a link, go ahead and send it anytime. But if you're sending actual pictures, please send it AFTER 3:00 Pacific Time. In either case, don't forget to tell me the exact date the picture is from so I get it right.

Thanks for the link. That site does have some nice interviews. But I e-mailed the webmaster awhile ago, and he wouldn't let me copy his transcriptions. Nice guy.

I'd like to add that the History forum will be put on hold for one week. When I return, I get it caught back up. There are quite a few things that happen each day. I proofread all of them to make sure the event and day match before I post them.

So after I enter the events for June 17th, I won't be adding anything else until I return from San Diego. To avoid my Email from flooding, please send any info on Beatle events in a PM to me.

No problem, it'll look sweet eventually.

I have some photos that don't have precise dates, but the month in which they were taken is known - would these be any use to you, Jerry?

Since the history thing is day by day, I think the pictures should only be put up if we know the exact date. Maybe we can post them here and people can figure out a date.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">That's all fine and good, Jerry, but he doesn't have a legal claim to those transcriptions, and he never specifies that he's the one who transcribed them. Nor does his site include a disclaimer concerning those transcriptions.

Yeah, I know. The guy isn't a brain surgeon, I just didn't have the energy to respond. Let him keep his extensive site with his 25 interviews. I kind of stopped adding interviews, but eventually I'll get more up there.

Yeah, there are better transcriptions out there anyway.

Whoever transcribed the interviews did so with a very free hand, completely editing out whatever wasn't aesthetically pleasing...
