I finally found my theme song!!!

Here I Go Again by Whitesnake

That song is me. No questions asked. At least, mom says it sounds like me...

------------------
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup,
They slither wildly as they slip away across the universe.
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my open mind,
Possessing and caressing me.
Jai guru deva om.

Nothing's gonna change my world

Definitely the song "Natalie rules and is a total babe" by a singer I don't remember. Wait...that's not a song.

I'd like to thank you on behalf of the group, and hope we pass the audition.

I've thought of another theme song, well it's sort of one, I just like having it to air my feelings while keeping the sound of my sadness happy.

So How Come No One Loves Me- I don't know who did it originally but The Beatles have covered it.

So How Come was first performed by the Everley Brothers.

There's nothing wrong with a woman identifying with the emotions expressed by a man, such feelings are universal even if the wording of it (ie. the she, her, etc) doesn't apply.

I think mine would be "You Learn" by Alanis Morissette. I love everything about that song~ especially the cynically desending metaphors! "The fire trucks are coming up around the bend..." ha!

Amazing HC!-- you really stumped
me this time... I thought for sure you were
going to choose "Here comes the Sun" or a
George song

Meantime, I think my theme song (written by
someone other than myself) at this point would be... "SWEET DREAMS" by Jon Anderson
(Yes) and a guy called David Foster.

[/b]

Well, it's always nice to raise
a smile if possible..

Meantime, "Sweet Dreams" is indeed an early
YES piece-- it's actually off of the album
(or c.d.) "Time and a Word", circa '71. And
you know you kind of stumped me again HC!--
I don't think I've heard "Some are Born"!--
which album is that from?.. I like Jon A.
as well(!)

Now that I think about it, "Another Day" seems more and more like my theme song. I can totally relate to the girl in the song.

More than likely, my theme song would have to be "Gonna Fly Now" by Bill Conti. It's the main theme to the movie Rocky, which I can relate most to.

Oh~ this song is from "Songs of Seven", released around 1980...great words! "Do not regret a moment living out your life..." Also on that LP is "Don't Forget (Nostalgia)" which is awesome.
On a different Jon Anderson solo LP is the song "Boundaries"...very Celtic inspiration & one of his best, I think. You can usually pick up his stuff pretty cheap on ebay.
