The 30th Annual John Lennon Tribute, Live from the Beacon Theatre, NYC, a 15-track live album collecting highlights from the concert last year, will hit stores on November 15th. One of the standout tracks in the set is Patti Smith and Tony Shanahan's stirring rendition of "Oh Yoko," which you can stream here.

OMG, my husband and I are huge PS fans. He'll love this! I want this album!!!

Shelby Lynne's version of "Mother" is absolutely magnificent on that Come Together dvd from 2001. Incredible.

I love the songs of course, but I'm not always smitten with some covers.

Oh how neat. Wow, they have a new tribute coming up! I am so out of the loop. I'm game for this album though. They have "Watching the Wheels" on there. Not too many ever cover that one.
