Paul mentions this exact same thing in that "Making Of Sgt. Pepper" special, and I think that was back in 1992.

I guess if you're hard up for news, it's better to dredge up old news than to make up something.

I guess. Maybe I'm just cranky today. But it annoys me to read "news" that's old hat on a web site like "What Goes On". I look for real Beatle news there.
