The Let it Be...Naked website is up and live now!
Hi!
I went on the Beatles website this morning at about 11 A.M. PST, and the Let It Be...Naked website was finally available. When you get there click the album cover, and it'll take you to a contents page, where you can either go directly to the specific items, or view the site as a book. It includes samples from the album, clips from the radio special, and the five e-mail "fly on the wall" examples we've been getting for a couple of weeks. Also, look out for the "targets" on some pages. When you point your mouse to them, you'll get more previews of the 2nd disc "fly...wall" stuff.
That's it. Enjoy!!!
Jess

Re: The Let it Be...Naked website is up and live now!
It was quite fun to navigate around the site and experience all the sights and sounds. I'm wondering what everyone thought of the preview of the albums. Personally I can't hear much of a difference btwn the tracks as compared to the original release, other than lack of choirs on certain songs, and Across the Universe finally sounding "defogged". Actually all the tracks DO sound cleaner and sharper, but is there much of a difference overall?

I know I should know this, but what is the URL for the web site?
Edit: never mind that - I found it. Duh to me. What else would it be but Beatles.com? *
I listened to a couple previews and it was weird... It was just so different without the wall of sound Spectorama stuff...

Well if anything good came with this whole project, it has to be the website. It has impeccable design, great little features, and those sound fragments from the Fly On The Wall CD, plus 30-sec snippets of all the tracks and fragments of the radio show, which is all for great enjoyment.
It also has a couple of interesting George quotes about him leaving the band in one of the pages. I suggest you search through the pages of the "book" and find that special quote which was very pleasant to hear.
