All things must pass
feeling sentimental today .... my son (14) is moving to california today .
He is a huge huge part of my life and the only good thing I have to look foward too on days off work or whatever..there will be a huge void a loud silence .. all things must pass
recently Sadies (sallys) Dad passed on the 18th ...all things must pass. and in the beginning of the month my manager at work 17 year old daughter got hit and killed by a car...all things must pass away .. the only constant thing is change .. and all life will end .
Hold on to life as long as you can but remember you too will see change sometimes when you dont even want too. all seasons change, friends come and go, love lives and leaves,
the sun and moon will keep going up and down and the world will still spin around..but all things must pass I will miss you in my life my son .

((((hugs)))) for you, Erik.
I imagine it's going to be quite an adjustment for you with
your son not there in town with you. I hope you guys can
arrange lots of visits and things. And don't you be off by
yourself too much!
I'm so sorry to hear about Sally's father.
Her parents sound like really sweet people. She
told me once how he loved the Mrs. Bucket character
on "Keeping Up with Appearances," cos I had said it was
one of my favorite shows.

I'm sorry you are going through a rough time. But, youre right, All Things Must Pass. I credit that song with getting me through a truly dark depressing time in my life as well. Just know that if you ever need us we are here.

I know how life can change from a moment to the other. I'm young but I know about those changes... I had to leave my family some months ago because of some weird problems that oneself is never ready for... luckily I'm seeing them from time to time again.
But those kind of things helped me to see how the wheel of life works...
lots of HUGS for you Eric!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with my Mom! You have a very good head on your shoulders, Erik, and that's very admirable!

What you say is exactly right and my father said very much the same thing when he was told he was dying, he also said "Don't cry for me its my time" and I know that things have to pass but bloody hell it hurts, and sorry Dad but some days I can't stop crying.
Anyway Erik you and Forrests mutual love will see you through.
