Songs you can't listen to..
because it hurts too much, not because the song is bad but because it brings back sad memories or at least songs that make you cry....at the moment mine is Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd as Dad requested it at his funeral...
what songs hurt too much for you to listen to right now?

I cant listen to Cat's in the Cradle without crying. It sort of reminds me of how my kids are growing up too fast.

This is weird, but I can't stand any song that was featured on the show Smallville.

It is so amazing how songs can have such an emotional effect and tie themselves so tightly to memories.
Sadie, I hope before too much longer you will be able to listen to CN and feel happy memories of your Dad and not just the pain of his passing.

There is a Police album I can't listen to. I can't spell the name but it starts with an S. Anyway, my husband played this album a lot during my first two weeks home after I had my first child. I had a touch of the PPD and I cried every night. So this album brings back a time of my life I'd rather not think about. My husband knows better than to play it when I am around.
