Edit: They did a great job with all the effects and edits. Looks like they used body doubles with real Beatle faces? Great CGI work, I'd say.
That's what I thought at first, because as far as I know I've never seen any Abbey Road footage before, neither have I seen much(any) film footage of the Beatles in their Abbey Road cover outfits (apart from John and his white suit) but then again I haven't seen it all...I'm sure if any exists Apple would have it.
But now that I think more about it, it's probably really good special effects.

at 4.00 exactly. (It's from footage made during the Tittenhurst Park foto shoot). Would be nice if we could find the other scenes somewhere too. ;) Like that creepy smile from John...

That commercial is amazing. The way the camera pull away from Lennon is definitely strange... I noticed the Titenhurst park McCartney right away. George and Ringo are definitely actors. John's beard was bushier on the day of the actual photoshoot. His face does look very thin, almost like they did photoshop a beard over footage they already had, but it doesn't look grainy at all. Did they put a prosthetic nose on the actor? I wish they made more commercials like this...
I am not sure whether I'm posting this in the right place, or talking about a Rock Band or a Releases commercial, or both. It's the video that is in the main page of the Beatles' web site, that of the Abbey Road crossing. First of all, have you got any idea about how they've made it? Are they stand-ins? Is it all computer-generated?
And, second, is there any way to download that video? I'd like to keep it because it's the only thing, apart from the Mosque of Cordova (and it's not because it's in Spain), that has let me really speechless in the last years (I'm of the indolent kind ).

We've got a thread going regarding the commercial already. So, I am merging this thread with that one.
Thanks! I hadn't been able to find this thread before.
Paul's close shot was very familiar to me, but I didn't realize where it came from. As for John's, I had the impression that it could be from some of the Twickenham sessions, but a beard added by computer. Are George and Ringo actors? Well, they really look like the real ones.

At first, I thought thought it was ALL CGI of the actual Beatles throughout the entire commercial. But I am thinking now that the parts where they're crossing the street might be look-alikes. All other parts of the commercial are the actual Beatles - whether beards or whatever have been CGI'd onto their faces.
Yeah, that shot of Paul looking off to the side looks to me like it's from the final photo shoot. I've seen it before, I know that.
It seems slightly odd to me that a movie camera wasn't rolling during the "Abbey Road" shoot. There should have been moving pictures of them crossing the street that could have been used for such a commercial.
