Default Come Rain Come Shine

The other day I was in the car and on the radio was some dance song that I would never have heard otherwise if I got to pick the station, but when the song came on i noticed it sampled Silly Love Songs, pretty heavily. The only words I could make out were Come Rain Come Shine. Anyway I forgot about the song till a few minutes ago when i randomly stumbled onto and found this:
A Rare Paul McCartney-authorized Interpolation Of "Silly Love Songs" Scores A Hit At Dance Radio

Come Rain Come Shine has recently moved to the top 3 positions on the Billboard Dance Radio Airplay Chart as well as the Sirius, XM and AOL radio charts.

Come Rain Come Shine's producers, Andy & the Lamboy, proudly share a co-writing credit with Sir Paul McCartney on this track.

BILLBOARD May 07, 2005,
Come Rain Come Shine

"The first thing you notice about Jenn Cuneta's buoyant Come Rain Come Shine is that it heavily borrows from Wings' Silly Love Songs.

It is a rare Paul McCartney-authorized sample, and the track takes full advantage of the song's springy disco-lite bassline and its unmistakable horn section.

The bubbly Come Rain Come Shine is already a top 10 hit on the Hot Dance Radio Airplay chart and deserves to cross over to mainstream top 40 outlets looking for a sunny pop single."

-Keith Caulfield
The site has audio sampples and stuff if you go into the highlights 2005 section. I haven't heard about this until now and don't remember having seen it mentioned here, but i could have missed it. Anyway what are your thoughts? I think its cool, just another example of Pauls continuing experiments.
You know it ain't easy...

But it's alright, Ma, it's life, and life only.

I see what you mean. And I like it too.
If I was still visiting clubs, this would be the song I'd dance to.
Pity tho that "the dancing generation" won't pick up on that sample and the fact that it was written by Paul...

No surprise that is a huge club hit.
No doubt will hit the charts before the summer is out.
