Default RUTLES 2 IN MARCH!

pythonline.com has announced that Warner Brothers plans to release Can't Buy me Lunch on video in March. Go there and then go to the news page for August 19 where you can find the information under the Eric Idle heading. At the moment though, that's all the news there is.

Well I hope my petition did something to get this film released. The joke around the house is that Eric Idle will take Magill and I to the film in his limo, and buy us lunch. I started that petition for two reasons. 1) Magill suggested that one might help. 2) Eric Idle has always made me laugh and I figured doing this would in some way pay him back for it.

Anyway the film comes out in March, I can't take all of the credit of it. Another petition is on the internet for its release. And I suppose a bunch of letters were written too.

I thought the point of the movie was that he can't buy you lunch.

Glad to see you posting again, Vince, and I'm looking forward to seeing this.

Oh wow, this is great news! I loved "All You Need Is Cash" and had been hoping Warner Bros. would come to their senses about the new one. This is the best news I've heard in a long time.

Then, juts one question. You all seem so excited about the Rutles, I never knew what people found in them, although I may understand you like them beacuse they parody ther Beatles with style and humor... But anyway, my question is, if you had to choose between the release of How I won the war in dvd and this by the Rutles, which one would you go for?

According to Amazon.com The Rutles 2:Can't Buy Me Lunch is going to be released on March 1st 2005. Which is good because we don't need to wait all of March for its release. But I'm sorry to say that this is for America only.

here's the linky in case you don't believe me.

I'd pick the Rutles first (sorry John!) just because I'd probably find it more entertaining. But anywho, that's great that it's gonna be out on the first of march! I was wondering what was up with that since i hadnt heard much about it...
