Liz,
The RS yearbooks are usually printed in early November(i.e. before george's death). I remember when I subscribed getting them aroung Nov. 20th.

I missed it too! Looks like I'll have to keep my eye out for it on Ebay because some will be bound to turn up.

Hey Tim,

This one is a Special Edition. It's totally different & a little smaller than the usual Rolling Stone magazine. I couldn't find any a couple of days ago. I'm going out on the hunt this afternoon. Don't know if I'll see any more, but I'll try to find some!

Do you think we can order them directly from Rolling Stone online?

Well, to answer my own question...

I can't see it available online yet either!
UGH! The ever mysterious George Harrison! He'll haunt us from beyond as well!

I don't know if any of you have seen these but I thought I'd let you know that they're out there. They're both unofficial but they're nice to have anyway.

You'd probably have to go within the next day or two but I saw the People, Time and, Entertainment Weekly issues at a Newscenter while shopping today so check out your local Newscenter they may still have them.

On Mojo magazine you'll find a tribute to George.... there are the articles also online, that's where you can read them:

Click here to read the full inside story of George's solo masterpiece

Click here to read an unseen interview from 1997

I finally got the RS issue of George. It was at Walgreens ,on the bottom shelf of the magazine section. I could barely see it.You'd think they would have it up in front.

I just found it today as well. Granted I had to go to L.A. to find it, but I found it just the same...

Cool! Mojo is a nice mag! I may have to travel up to Denver to find one. I don't think any of the shops down here will have it! UGH!

I was at Barnes and Noble earlier and found a Guitar World with George on the cover, there was a really cute guy perusing the George tribute mags with me but that is beside the point.

I wouldn't be surprised if other guitar mags put out tributes soon too.

Yeah, I've been watching the guitar mags. Still haven't seen anything, but I am be in a slow part of the world these days!

LOL about the guy! One poor soul was checking out all the George tribute mags when I first spotted the Rolling Stone mag. Sadly, I reached in front of him & took the whole stack. You should've seen the look on the guy's face when I took the stack & walked up to the cash register!!!
