Default Spring Cleaning

I just got done cleaning all of the winter scum off of my car! It was a tough job, too, since it's about 80 degrees outside... Not to mention that my car hadn't been thoroughly cleaned since mid-November. I can actually tell that it's white again, though (which is always a good thing). So yay!! I'm about to tackle the apartment... Yikes!!! Has anyone else begun their *Spring Cleaning*?

Well, it snowed this week so it doesn't feel like 'spring' here. Once it melts... then we'll talk.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">I'm with you on that one Lizzy! It just snowed about 4 inches here since last night, so it's not spring yet

LOL Yeah, I agree... We've had a couple warm days so far, but until one of them actually falls on a weekend when I can be at home and open up all the windows to air this place out, I'm not cleaning anything.

I plan to do my spring cleaning in a few weeks. Even though it's like 73 here it's supposed to drop way down overnight and supposedly snow. Such is March in the frozen tundra that is Mentor, Ohio.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">or two!!

I am also curious, what kind of winter scum you do you get down there? I mean without snow you don't have to worry about sand, salt or magnesium chloride.

</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Winter scum in Florida consists of tons of little brown leaves getting stuck... EVERYWHERE... And there's always tons of dust on the road, and rain. Not to mention all of the bugs that are still out and about. Of course, I know it's Spring now -- HERE, at least -- because there are hundreds of lizards outside, and I also found my first huge bug in the house. *shudder* Spiders are the worst here.

Hey! Sarandipity.... since when do you get winter in Orlando? Take pity on me ,I live near Buffalo. It isn't as bad as outsiders think though. I only had to use my snowblower three times this winter. On Friday the temp on hit 68 degrees (a record for the date).

Luckily it is spring-like where I am because my dryer is broken and I am able to hang my clothes outside.

<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Same here, but my allergies are worse in spring. As a matter of fact, today is the first day that they've really bothered me a lot (runny nose, sinus pressure, and that "allergy fog"). They usually last through March into April...yuck.
