Default Tarney-Spencer (Band) anyone?

Remember these guys from the 70's?

They had a big hit with their version of Cathy's Clown and then produced various albums for Cliff Richard.

For Cliff they made a sort of come-back when he did "We Don't Talk Anymore" and yesterday on the car radio I heard "Dreaming" which came 2nd in the line of a few hits with this producers duo.

I loved the sound of them, it is guitars and a very clear sound with good percussion and reminds me a bit of what Jeff Lynne did later as producer.

Here is "Dreaming" which shows Cliff quite different than with those easy little hopeful 60's sweeties.

Any thoughts on this?

I love "Dreamin," early MTV video, as I recall.

Also this one:

"No Time To Lose" got a lot of airplay in the US in the early 80's. Great song.
