Who's Who ?
One of the stories in "In His Own Write" is called "Henry and Harry".
Some Beatles scholars think these were two people John actually knew.
Who could they be?

It's that kind of situation where the father wants his son to go into a particular trade and the son has other ideas.

Yes indeed.
It's thought the father in the story is Harold (Harry) Harrison who wanted so much for his son to become an electrician that he gave him a set of tools as a Xmas present.
George would therefore be Henry who wanted to do something completely different with his life.
