Las Vegas Beatles Fest
yay, finally i get to go to one of these things; however, i still haven't bought my tickets just yet. who else will be attending?
what exactly do you do at these, is it mandatory to stay for the the entire time it's open?

I'm pretty sure I'm going again this year. I went to the LA fest for about 10 years in the 80s and 90s, and last year's Vegas fest was my first in awhile. Cool location, I'm good for a Vegas trip anytime.
I guess you gotta figure out how much of the live entertainment you want to see, or which book signing or appearance you want to check out, and then plan around that.
The swap meet area is always open, you can roll through that anytime you want. Same goes for the memorabilia stuff.
And then after that, you can bury yourself in alcohol and gambling, which is half the reason you're going right?

drinking probably, but not sure if i'll do much gambling. i always have the worst of luck. i was going to go see love as well.
does wayne newton still perform?

For sure see Love as long as you're there. But I would get a ticket soon, I can imagine it selling out that week very quickly. I think Wayne Newton is semi-retired, but I'm sure he still sings here and there.
