Good News and Bad News
Hey there fellow Beatle people,
I know I haven't written in a long time, and I just thought i'd write a lil note to tell you all how things are going on with me, whether you care to know or not hehe.
The Good news is, that around November 22nd i'll be moving out of my parents house and into my own appartment. FINALLY!
The Bad News....I lost another pet last Thursday, my hamster Emily died of "Wet-Tail" disease on Thursday the 7th, I had her only for 5 months. She will be missed as she was a very adorable and talented hamster, heh.
Well thats all from me, will be checking messages from time to time.
Miss everyone...

Let us know how you like having your own place! Sorry about the hamster. That's the unfortunate thing about some types of pets - their all too short life span.

Good for you , Liz! It's exciting getting into your own place and doing things when you want and not having to answer to anyone for it. I remember that time well (I was 19). Now I have an 11 y/o to answer to. YEESSH!! How I envy you!
On the other hand, I'm sorry to hear about your pet friend, Emily. May she R.I.P.

Re: Good News and Bad News
I'm sorry to hear about your hamster...but congratulations on getting your new apartment! I wish I was living on my own, I'm stuck at home for the time being. I'm sure it'll be challenging, yet fun, to live on your own. Good luck!

Re: Good News and Bad News
Liz, my sweet -- sorry about your hamster! It is always hard to lose a pet.
But...congrats on the new apartment. Now, do me a favor when you move in. Go to the store and get yourself the following:
A loaf of bread -- so you may never know hunger in your new home.
Some honey or some sugar -- so life may be sweet in your new home.
A bottle of nice wine -- so life may be fruitful and abundant in your new home.
My mother told me to do that when I moved into my first apartment, and I think it is a nice tradition to pass on...and I hope that you have all the things mentioned above and more!

You made me think of Mary from "It's A Wonderful Life". Remember she also gave salt so that their new life will always have flavor. Of course, that was back when salt wasn't "deadly".

I'm sorry to hear about your pet. But good luck with the new apartment! I finally moved out of my parent's house a few months ago, and it's a great feeling. You'll love it!!!
