Question Interviews

Shortly before their final US tour, the Beatles taped a group interview with Brian Matthews for inclusion in the 400th edition of "Saturday Club". After they were through, Paul and Ringo stayed for separate interviews for another show. What show was it and when was it originally booked?

They were for a BBC programme "Pop Profile" and were recorded on Monday May 2nd 1966. They compliment John and George's earlier interviews for the same BBC Transcription Service overseas programme. The interviews were edited to 8 minutes and pressed as 7" singles.

Exclamation

I'd love to give you the point, Johnny, but you broke the rules. Only one post per member between the moderator's posts. I have to disqualify for this question. Sorry.

The point is up for grabs to the first person to put all the info in one post.

You mean, Kat, that if I say this I get the point?

BBC's Transcription Services "Pop Profile": Ringo and Paul were taped on Monday May 2 1966 at the Playhouse Theatre after being originally booked on April 29. Airdate unknown.
