Im incrediblely sad that George has passed.
I never got the opportunity to see him in concert.
However, i know that atleast now he is finally resting and not suffering.
And his music will continue to fill my life with happiness, love and admiration.

A sad time,to be sure.....but we'll have his music and cultural influence to remind us of what we had. He was such a private individual,I'm glad he went peaceful....

I read somewhere that people come into your life for a reason or for a season ... that we share time and space with others because we have something to learn from them or something to teach them.

As part of the Beatles, and as a solo artist, he had a lot to teach us. I'm grateful for the season we got to share.

You will always be part of my life and my heart, George!

How wonderful it could be if only there was no death amoung us, but lets face the fact that we all live ,we all die yet there is none ever forgotton there is always someone who you have connected with and i would say to goerge harrison is that many connected to him weither we knew him personally or not. we all share our tears for him and yet we are overwhelmed that now he is no longer suffering.I thank him for all the wonderful memories he gave us and that will last in our hearts forever.

Just want to say something in memory of someone I have admired since I first became aware of music....say around 1969/70. When following the Beatles at the end of their career, he always seemed to be the one in the backgound, which reminded me of me..Then, in 1970, My Sweet Lord came out, and it was my first record, where I remember I was saving my 20c coins on holiday with my parents. Remember thinking either that one, or the Partridge Family, 'I think I love You'. Right choice I am sure, as lots of us kids were real mirror guitarists, and MSL was perfect.
And who said the song was anywhere like 'He's So Fine'?. To me that is still a slur on the career of such a great songwriter, whose talents are finally being recognised. RIP George, you were such an inspiration to me.

You probably thought 'How can I be sure' the one I buy is the right choice.

Rod, I couldn't agree more. I never thought the song was plagerised. Just because two chords are the same to me is not grounds for a law suit. They only wish George copied their song. Rest in peace, George.

Welcome, all Beatle friends!

I, too had my doubts all along about that lawsuit in re "My Sweet Lord." The Chiffons couldn't even sing in the rain or carry a tune in a pick up truck and "He's So Fine" is a tired and uninspiring piece with silly doo langs as a chorus. What a cop out!

George's arrangement is nothing short of superior, nonpareil guitar playing and lyrics. Yeah, you are right -- those who initiated the lawsuit only WISH they'd inspired George Harrison!

Probably not a good time to talk about the 'He's So Fine' mess but I couldn't agree more. I still can't see what they are talking about. Just because he used a couple of chords. For pity's sake - has that never happened before.
And it is still a slur - you are right. I've even seen it mentioned on the telly in the last couple of days. But on the cheerie side for the most part I thought that at last George was geting the things said about him that he deserved.
