At first I was a little bummed that this film was just going to be on tv, but now I'm happy because it means more people will actually see it!!

Being released on DVD is what I'm hoping for, so I can own a copy of it!

Once something hits TV, it is just a question of time before it becomes available on dvd.

It's a pity that after all this waiting time people get negative after the first messages about how it will be released.

I hope out here at Crackerbox Palace we will not have a negative vibe which I see at the GH.com forum, it's so sad after all this work which has been done on this very long - in minutes/hours - documantary and of what we get in a few months, some have such a negative vibe even before the release. Very unlike Harrison.

We get this from the Harrison estate and so far they have never dissapointed us.

I know :)

But you know, when you are a real Harrison admirer, you gotta be patient so when it comes it will bring so many good emotions.

Certainly I'm not disappointed 'cause I wasn't looking forward to the theatrical release in the first place. Not that it would have been possible here anyway.

So, I pre-ordered the book and definitely will buy the bluray along with the CD when it becomes available.

After all this is going to be the first sort of new material from George in almost ten years folks! I can't wait!

I have not noticed negative vibes there regarding the film. Are you sure it is not just people voicing an opinion? Message Forums are full of that....and sometimes the internet has a way of making something come across as not intended.

I visit there often and i also expressed my slight disspointment in it just being shown on television. I think more then a few were assuming it was to be a theatrical release.
I have visited a few other forums that are currantly talking about it and they are far more negative, mainly focusing on the bonus CD and what the contents might be ( or not be ). They are music forums, and some of the early remarks are a bit sad. One has to just take it in stride. As they say, the 'proof is in the pudding' and once it is released the naysayers will move on.

I am glad it is finally being released, and it will be a delight to view on disc when the time comes. The fact it is not being shown on a big screen is not going to deminish the enjoyment of it.

It will be a lovely film i am certain.

How can it not be?

:)

I'm not negative about the release though I don't know anyone with HBO. but I do hate BLue ray with a pasion and find it too problematic with their security features. What I'm upset about is the CD is only released with the Blue ray. It's gauging since blue ray is overpriced as it is. I'd pay for that Cd but keep your stinking blue ray.

I too was a bit disappointed to hear that the film won't be in cinemas, but after all this time I'll be happy to see it on TV or DVD!

I'm so glad it will be on TV instead of at the theaters! I'm still wanting to see Pirates and Harry Potter! Theaters are expensive, so I'm glad they decided on a more affordable presentation. :)

I will not be able to view this until it hits home video.

The book is my main interest at this point...hoping for some insightful photographs of George's later period.

It's one of my main interests. Perhaps it will be accessible to all.
