Es una lástima no tener más a George entre nosotros. Pero igual estoy bien, porque estoy seguro que estará junto a John por toda la eternidad.

Adios George!!!

Just two days ago I received from a Beatles catalog, a 2002 Calendar and With The Beatles mouse pad. I'm so happy to have these on my collection.
I'm 34 years old. Since I was 15 I felt in love with the Beatles.
I began to know more about this wonderful group that was the beginning of the most beautiful music in history.

When I heard the sad news of George passing . My heart stop. But, inmmediatly I felt comfort because I know that he is with John singing beautiful songs to God.

George music was uplifting and spiritual and he had a beautiful voice.
God bless him !

Welcome to Beatlelinks, Rod, Kevin and Vivian. Nice of you to join our "family".

BTW, my translator tells me that this is what Kevin posted:

<UL TYPE=SQUARE>Is a pity not to have more to George among us. But equal I am well, because I am sure that will be next to John for all the eternity. Adios George!![/list]
I know it's a rough translation, but you get the idea.

You will always be part of my life and my heart, George!

Hey guys...glad I could get some feedback on the so called 'copy' of He's So Fine. Just would like any comment if anyway can clarify what I believe the court ruling stated, that it was 'unconciously' plagarised. Meaning? That he was asleep at the time? lol

Anyway, in my view My Sweet Lord is George's 'signature' tune. Then again, Something certainly is a classic as has been well documented lately. So which one do we say is 'the' song, or does it really matter?

<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>I know what you mean and I feel

did see George in concert at his "Darkhorse
Tour" back around '74-- he was indeed just
great and the energy was incredible with
George, Willy Weeks and others. For me, it
was a special time because I had the pleasure
to attend that show with my then 1st ever
girlfriend--(Maggie). I still miss her and
now I miss George of course as well-

But the great thing is, I was able to share
those "George moments" with a great gal then
and I look back at that time with much love and greatness!! I remember us and even George dancing!--(a great thing!!- --JC

Thankyou for your greeting. I've enjoyed everyones comments and sharing of feelings. It goes to show that there is love amoung us and even though we may be speaking of just one great man, there is so many more out there. I only wish that the world could love eachother instead of only loving them when they pass a way, is'nt that just so sad.

I saw him (though I couldn't hear him) close up when they came to Kansas City in 1965; it was my first concert, and my grandparents took me. He was young, and sweet looking with his very dark hair, and dark eyes. He had a very sweet smile, and yes, i could appreciate that even at 11 years old. I feel blessed.

correction: I just re-read my note- the year was 1964. My grandmother passed the next year.
