Imagine - the film

can someone tell me why the other 3 beatles were not interviewed in the film imagine ? was it yoko's or their decisions ? this has always intrigued me.

Maybe he's thinking about the "Imagine - John Lennon" movie. And I still see no reason why the other three Beatles should be interviewed - it was a John Lennon biography sort of thing also. Or are you talking about something else?

I wondered that myself when I saw the film. After all, they interviewed Cynthia Lennon for it.

well just like doing a biography on any of the other 3 you would expect if John was alive, to be interviewed. From 1958 to 1970 and 1962 in ringos case, the other 3 were a big part of johns life. in a bio of elton john, bernie taupin was interviewed for instance. It is a glaring omission in my opinion - and probably either yoko did not want them to be interviewed or they declined cos of yoko's involvement are the likely reasons. The 3 of them talked freely about John in the anthology series and seemed to have no problem in doing so.
