Everybody Nobody
I love this song. It's just George and his guitar but it sound so great, and his voice sounds perfect, better than ever for me.
But I got some questions about it:
At the beggining of the song, he says something in a very low voice and I never could catch what is it, somebody knows?
And I also wanna know the year and why isn't it on any album?

Doesn't he just say the name of the song?

It's an early version of "Ballad of Sir Frankie Crisp" from All Things Must Pass. In fact you can hear him say "Sir Frankie Crisp" at the beginning. It was recorded spring 1970, May probably. George played some of the songs to Phil Spector, but didn't know they were being recorded.

I was just listening to that yesterday on Beware of Abkco (thanks, Susan!). It's a beautiful song. Let It Down and Run of the Mill are my favorites at the moment though.

Drum!
I'm so glad you're back! It's been a long time!
Yes, "Beware of ABKCO" is a beautiful song. Good points about "Let it Down" and "Run of the Mill" -- both are intensely moving. I find that when I am on overload, some soothing ATMP usually works for me.
