welcome to the links
It is quite a weird song, just happened to be what john was doing at the time, it's a catchy tune when you listen to it a few times!! lol

It really isn't all that bad, there may be alot of funny things on the track but really, it's kind of interesting to listen to if your in the mood for it. Personally I like the little conversation that George and John are having. Give #9 a chance.

People have really varied and extreme-edge views about this piece. Some people hate it, some people love it, some people think it's stupid and others think it's art...

To me it's a very clever piece.

Every song written exploits an emotion. Ususally it's happiness of sadness (or in the case of new music - boredom) but nobody has really dared to (or has been capable of) write a piece to mes with another emotion.

John tried. He tried to invoke fear - and you'd be surprised by the number of people who feel scared, uneasy, un-nerved etc after or during listening to this song!

I wouldn't exactly say that I like it but there is definitely a time and place for it.

But, for example, when I have my ipod on "shuffle songs" and I hear that talking and then that freaky piano starting up, I will usually forward it on!

I remember a time though when I was well into it...like a lot of abstract things, I think you have to me in a certain mood or state of mind to really enjoy it.

By the way, if you think Rev 9 is scary as it is, try listening to it backwards...

Yeah it's the scariest song (if you can call it that) ever! I used to always skip it, and one year when we were taking down our x-mas tree my dad made me listen to it...without skipping, ugh it was freaky! So don't worry, your not the only one!

Oh and welecome to links 99redballons (thats a great song btw)

I think its a cool tune. But i never listened to it backwards though! There are some funny and interesting things going on in that song that are kind of catchy.

I absolutely hated it at first, but now I've learned to respect it. The fact that they knew it wouldn't be popular with the fans and that they preceded to release it anyways, shows how bold they really were.
