Happy Independence day to all our US members..
So today those who were born on the bayoo will be runnin' through the backwood, bare, maybe hear an old hound dog barkin', chasin' down a hoodoo there.
Hava a nice day

Happy 4th! I'm curious...until this year, I haven't heard of anybody calling it "Independence Day" in YEARS...it's always just been the 4th of July. Is this some new retro thing or is it a political thing or some PC terminology thing or what?

Yes, I realize that. What I meant was that this year, I'm hearing the term "Independence Day" all over the place, but it's the first time I've heard anybody call it that for years. I just wondered if it was some campaign or something that I hadn't heard of.
Our 4th in Chicago was pretty boring due to all day rain. But any day not at work is a good day.
