Beatles tattoo
Hello everybody! I was wondering if anyone had a Beatles related tattoo. I am contimplating getting one but wanted some suggestions on what to get. I was considering the image of the yellow submarine with the tree and peace sign. It would be small around my ankle or foot.

We had a topic on tatoo's before and if I remember correctly not many people here have them. My first thought on this is wait till you are in your twenties. But of course I know that 'kids' these days don't, it is the thing to do. So I won't lecture I have one that I got in my thirites and I don't regret it but I definitely don't want another. I think a Beatle on would be very cool. But I would never put one on my ankle, ouch.

Re: Beatles tattoo
Although I think it'd be interesting to have a Beatles symbol or something, I have to say I've been turned off the idea of ever getting a tattoo ever. Plus I'm sure they'd hurt too much!

Re: Beatles tattoo
I have been mulling a Beatles logo tattoo on my forearm for a long time. If it doesn't hurt too much I would get a Yellow Submarine on the other arm.

Re: Beatles tattoo
I'm getting a Beatles tattoo soon, in my back a "Tomorrow Never Knows", but I need someone to design it for me.
Another good idea can be the Sgt Peppers drum... it's like saying, I'm a part of that lonely hearts club band

Re: Beatles tattoo
I like the idea of the Apple symbol, maybe with "The Beatles" written beneath it or something. I don't think I'd ever get a tattoo, but if I did, it would be something like that!

Re: Beatles tattoo
My boyfriend has the best beatles tatoo.
He has the Revolver cover on his upper arm. He actually got it before we were together, but it is really cool. He took the cover to the shop and the artist copied it, without all the people in the middle, so he just has the 4 boys, with the chinese symbol for love underneath. I love it!

I've had it for 2 yrs.The ankle is the only place I would get it, cause if I wanted it to be seen I would wear shorts.Otherwise I would hide it with my socks.I didn't want it on my back or shoulder, cause nobody would see it.Except my husband. It seemed like the logical choice.Besides it only took about 45 minutes to do.

Re: Beatles tattoo
lol, how about down the top of your foot?
Seriously I would love to get a head pic of '64 George, & 'Human Touch' Bruce on me somewhere, but I would feel forced to put a pic of my hubby as well. He happens to have my face on his upper arm and people already ask me where is my tatto of him. So no Bruce, no George unless I get a 'Dave' first.

Re: Beatles tattoo
There was this man at the 2002 Chicago Fest who had all 4 faces of the 1964 Moptops tattooed on his arm, just below his shoulder.

Re: Beatles tattoo
Needles frighten me... As does the prospect of having ink permanently embedded under my skin. Good luck to you, though! I think tattoos are neat on other people, but I just can't imagine ever having one myself.

Re: Beatles tattoo
I would love to get a Beatle tattoo but I don't know if I could put up with the pain. I would really like to get one though...I don't know. I've actually recently talked about going to get one with my roomie. I don't know though.

Re: Beatles tattoo
I'm getting a tattoo of John, the scaled down portrait of the Avedon picture.I'm going to scale down the picture, edit the others out and just have Johns head. Print it out and take it up the tattoo shop and get the bloke to copy it onto my arm. Should be good. I'll post a pic when its done.I've got a couple of others. They don't hurt that much. Its an irritating pain, but bearable.
